throughout SPECIALIST ENGINEERING SUPPORT FOR DESIGN CONSULTANTS & PLANT OPERATORS SVT provides specialised engineering support services for project design consultants and plant operations groups. In the case of project design consultants, SVT can function as an independent external consultant or provide personnel to work in-house within the project team (in a part-time or full-time capacity), covering a wide range of project noise and vibration design issues. SVT can also provide site personnel to assist in acceptance testing of equipment at the completion of plant commissioning, including baseline noise and vibration surveys. In the case of an existing plant, SVT provides technical support to plant maintenance, operations and engineering groups. This may be in the form of noise and vibration surveys; provision of condition monitoring, machinery diagnostics and performance monitoring services; provision of engineering services including detailed design of noise/vibration control measures; corrosion engineering and several specialised engineering services. SVT can provide services based on a pre-agreed scope of work, normally culminating in a detailed written report. SVT can also provide technicians and engineers to work within its clients' organisations for a longer period of time if required.
